Welcome, or Hwl as is the courteous welcome here in the westest of Wales, where you can find some of the finest Woodcock shooting available, which is operated alongside our driven pheasant, snipe and duck.

For many years we have kept these grounds to ourselves   but now, for the first time, we have made a limited number of driven shooting days available on this virgin ground. Shooting is within the scenic Pembrokeshire Peninsula and, to an extent, within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

Our ethos is to provide high quality driven woodcock to the discerning client but, as this is a truly, wild bird we recognise the importance of conservation and therefore limit the number of days shot, introduce bag limits and repay the environment with sensitive habit management.

Please do not though confuse us with a big commercial shoot. We only allow a few days into our "inner sanctum" of woodcock shooting as we love meeting guns from away and showing them how special Pembrokeshire is in many respects. It also serves a very important purpose in that it allows us to maintain a full time keeper, preserve special grounds from unscrupulous agents and shooters and facilitate a community spirit between farmers. We make no profit as all proceeds go back into the shoot.
